Field Crew Needed

Seeking field crew workers to join our operation this year at West Farm. We are looking for people who are energetic, like being outside, can stay focused, and work at a quick pace. This is physical work, and it can be hard, but is also rewarding, stimulating, and uniquely enjoyable.This is an opportunity for those motivated to advance their knowledge and skills on a growing and dynamic farm business.

We are a diversified organic vegetable farm, perennial nursery, and fruit farm. Vegetable production at West Farm is a mixture of regional wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales through our year round farm store at The Farm Between. Strong emphasis on producing crops without the use of pesticides.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience working with annual crops

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions

Season goes from March through November, off-season work potentially available

Compensation dependent on experience and skill level.

Affordable housing potentially available for rent. Store Credit CSA as a benefit.

Farm Stand & Nursery Attendant

Our busy farm stand and nursery is seeking a retail attendant. Key responsibilities involve greeting customers, answering questions, operating a Square Point of Sale system, and handling transactions. Attendants also process produce, arrange displays, help with nursery sales, and maintain an organized and inviting shopping environment.

Qualifications:

Previous retail experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Knowledge of fruit trees/bushes and perennial plants a plus.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Willingness to be flexible, be part of a team, and have fun.

Compensation dependent on experience and skill level.
