Cherry, Mesabi
A sweet-tart cherry. Noted for it’s deep red fruit with yellow flesh and larger than other tart cherries. Sugar content is between pie and sweet cherry making it great for baking and preserves. Grows to be about 10-12’ tall with 10’ spread. Generally is crack resistant and disease resistant. Requires full sun. Hardy to zone 4. Potted 3’ whip. Self-fertile, but may benefit from a pollinator to produce more fruit.
