A cold hardy nectarine! The Hardired is self fertile with beautiful pink flowers, very vigorous and productive. Smooth with red skin and yellow flesh. Semi-freestone. Good resistance to brown rot and bacterial leaf spot. Fruit ripens in early to mid-August. Ideal for fresh eating, baking, and preserving.
Zone 4/5. Mature tree is compact growing 10-15’ tall with a similar spread. Self pollinating.
