This heavy yielding and disease resistant Japanese russet pear ripens in late August or Early September. Sweet and rich flavors with notes of rum. Very crisp with slightly coarse white flesh. Pears can store up to 5 months. Great for fresh eating or storage.
Zone 4/5. Mature tree is 12-18’ tall. Potted 3-4’ whip, semi dwarf. Needs another pear variety to produce fruit such as Korean Giant or Bartlett.
