Also known as Olympic pear, Korean Giant is a sweet and crisp known for is juicyness and size. Crunchy with a honey flavor that gets more rich with storage. Can store for up to 9 months. Pick in late September or October when skin changes from green to tan.
Very good fire blight resistance.
Zone 4/5. 4-5’ whip. Mature semi dwarf tree grows to 10-18’ with a similar spread. Requires second variety of pear such as Chojuro to increase fruit size and yield; partially self fertile.
