Late ripening (mid-September) European dessert pear with a silky texture. The fruit is large and yellow with some russeting. Great for fresh eating and ideal for canning because it holds its shape. Size of mature standard tree is 15-20’ with similar spread.
Zone 3. Potted 3-5’ tree. European pears require a second variety for pollination such as Bartlett. This tree is on rootstock that is fireblight resistant.
