Extremely cold hardy pear with heavy fruit production. Loads of flowers!
Small/Medium fruit, early ripening in mid to late August. Golden Spice is ideal for canning and cooking.
Zone 3. Mature tree grows to 15-20’ tall with a similar spread. Space pears at least 20’ apart. Potted 4-5’ whip. Requires another variety for pollination.
Plant with other Ussuriensis pears; Patten is the best pollinator that we carry to partner with Golden Spice.
