Pineapple Quince is a small tree with fruit that is great for making jelly or marmalade. This variety was developed in the 1800s by breeder Luther Burbank and called pineapple because of it’s distinct flavor when made into jelly. Grows to be 10-25’ tall. Fruit is shaped like a cross between apple and pear and is large and gold in color with white flesh. Also great for cider or wine. Ripens late summer.
