Heirloom European pear that is fast growing with classic pear-shaped green/yellow fruit. Ripens in late August/Early September. Juicy and great for fresh eating or canning. White blossoms in spring. Mature semi dwarf tree can grow to be 15’ tall with a similar spread. Adaptable to many soil types. Bartlett is a great pollinator for many varieties of European pear.
Zone 4. Potted 3-5’ tree, needs second pear variety for pollination such as Summercrisp or Asian pear Chojuro.
